ATA 100 with 9600

Right now I'm running an Atto PCI SCSI card with a few 10k SCSI Drives.

I was thinking of trying out an ATA PCI card with a 8mb buffer ATA 100 drive.

Has anyone gone down this path?

Track count?

Disk too slow errors?
