When I upgrade to 10 native what happens to my 9 install?

I'm hoping to be able to use both while I transition, but I've read some claims that I'll have to choose one or the other because of the Ilok system.

Is there a practical way to install the 10 upgrade and keep the v9 system activated as well?

I only have one Ilok and currently it is only used for the v9 install.

Install 10 on a clone of your system drive that now has 9 installed(they cannot both be on the same drive). When you update your ilok to 10, it actually should authorize both 9 AND 10(so either system drive/PT install should run fine regarding the ilok asset).

Yep it's a bundle license (if you upgraded from PT9) with both 9 and 10 on it.
