Perhaps? Well you might be one of the first guinea pigs to try it out

Have you tried to change security setting in system pre to "Allow running App from anywhere" ? I had this problem before. It disappeared when I did so

If you are using the New Mac Pro then you don't need to change any of the hardware parts. The configuration of the nMP is just way far too strong for Pro Tools. Plus your Graphic cards are also at the top performance nowadays. So the only reason I could think of is between OSX+PT

Just tried installing the update 11.3.1 glitchy graphics problem is still there with 10.10.2
Running Quartz Debug gets rid off it.

I am having these same problems with Pro Tools 12 on a fresh Yosemite install, 10.10.3. and NVIDIA GT630 card.

I've spent all this money upgrading my plugins and it's SOOO SLOOw. Just pressing ESC to change tool, it pauses then jumps a few. zooming, half the time there is no outline where I've dragged the mouse, etc. Faders pause and glitch every couple of seconds.

Video engine/buffer/dynamic plug ins makes no difference. It's strange, I diddn't notice it doing this about two weeks ago, when I just opened PT12 to check if it worked. Today I went for my first mix in it.

I don't have an apple account so getting XCode won't be possible until I ask my girlfriend kindly for her password....

I would try if you have not already installing the latest driver from NVIDIA, AMD cards are covered by OSX but Nvidia make and update the drivers themselves.
I would clone your system as a backup before installing just in case.

Also I found if I run an app called ScreenFlow screen capture software in the background it also fixes the glitches if you can't get hold of Quartz Debugg.
IT seems different cards have different issues, but all point to Yosemite.
I tried the beta 10.10.4 and the issues are still there.

Has anyone found a way to permanently disable beam sync? I've found some apps and terminal commands that claim to but none of them seem to work. Or at least one that does it automatically at startup? Anyone write an AppleScript or Automator action they'd like to share?

http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/t.../Optimize-10-9

all back to normal. did you all did that?

MacPro2010 Quadcore, Protools HD 11.3.2

that made my day. the Debug didn't work.

Yes of course I did all that. Those steps are the first thing everyone should do. Definitely didn't help me. Since I posted this a year ago, i did find a little app that turns off beam sync at startup.
