Default can\' t cofigure stereo inputs

Hey there. If anyone can help Please do.
I Ca'nt seem to make my inputs stereo > I only get mono chanels and it makes. I wnet into I/O setup and configure everything properly ( at least i believe I did).. See mainly I'm trying to bounce some digital tracks using an optical cable. But I need to have the ability to record in stereo,,,Thanks 4 Your Help

Go to File> New Track. Make it a stereo Audio track. Assign the inputs to the corresponding stereo digital inputs. It sounds like you have mono tracks set up.
