Default Need some advice on a new laptop for the Mbox...

I am interested in getting a new laptop to use with my Mbox and PTLE. I have always been a Windows guy, but I am really wanting to make the change over to something that works...namely Apple. I have had my eye on the Apple iBook G4 with the 14" display and a Superdrive. Do you guys think that this computer would do the trick? I had also been looking at the Mini Mac (but I hear they are discontinuing those) and an iMac G5. The only problem is that the latter two are desktops and I would really rather get a laptop if it will do the trick. Also, will the things that I record seamlessly go from Windows to Mac? Thanks!
