Default could not complete your request because access violations occurred

Full prompt read: "could not complete your request because access violations occurred, unable to read location 0x00000008" This after I disconnected avid Mbox usb to access mother board audio out, then reconnected Mbox. all was wonderful before. Thanks, new to Avid Pro Audio Community and PT.
sincerely, Robinson Caruso.

ok, sorry about that. "Windows Home Premium Service Pack 1, System Rating 7.5 Windows Experience Index/Pro Tools Express 10.3.4" Maybe TMI but there it is. Filled all that info out during register process and was under the impression OS/PT version info was a given, learning though. Since last post, checked other similar threads that pointed to possible old version plug-in problems. Had installed Line6 POD Farm plug-in recently that PT did not want to run. So I uninstalled that but no different. Might need to know "How to Delete Preferences and Data Bases? Thanks in advance for Time and patients.
