How is it different compared to living in Finland and setting AC on 18 I might ask

I wonder if this is something that Avid is even taking a serious look at.

Doubt it...

Did you buy the 15" MBP model with dual graphics processors [DG], or did you buy the single integrated graphics processor model [IG] that shares system memory with the CPU?

I have the brand 2017 top of the line iMac and MBP that was just released, they both still do it so it is irrelevant of model. The reality is most people are not running an app like iStat and pay no attention to their machines temps. As an Apple tech, that is something I like to be aware of. Take a look at my post here: http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=391853

I am talking about the same issue. This is an Avid issue. Not an Apple issue. Avid has not optimized their software to work efficiently with dGPUs, CPUs, and really any GPU for that matter. Running an identical session in Logic Pro X runs 10-50 degrees Centigrade cooler.

Cheers!

Just bought a new MBP 15" Touch Bar, i7 with 16 Gb Ram, 1 TB ssd, SIERRA osx.
Installed from scratch all the software, all the plug ins, with a best care that are compatible and qualified. Optimizated the computer like Avid wrote.
The USB-c are Belkin. So, I think that I done all the best to have a solid and stable recording station.
System usage more times over and always around 60-80 % just for 8 tracks and a simple reverb waves IR1.
96/24 - 512 cache

My answer is NO!

An old 13" i5 2012 with 8 Gb with a normal hd and Maverick osx, is a rock!!!
System usage with the same session is only 3-5 %

What happen?????
