Crashing system

Hi all,
I run a LE 7 on a Mac OS-X 10.4 with a G% duel core sys. lately, while on re-wire mode with Reason, my system just freezs, and after a few seconds the fans of the Computer starts to work. It happens regardless of my buffer size, record mode or any other things. I have no viruses or anything of that sorts.

Has ani one encountered a problem like mine and wish to share his solution?
