Lightbulb Pro Tools 7.4cs7 Updates for HD, LE, M-Powered on Mac & Windows

Available from the Pro Tools CS Updates quick link in Support:
http://www.digidesign.com/support/csupdates

Released August 29, 2008:

  • Pro Tools HD 7.4cs7 for Windows XP
  • Pro Tools LE 7.4cs7 for Mac OS X (Tiger)
  • Pro Tools LE 7.4cs7 for Windows XP-Vista
  • Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4cs7 for Mac OS X (Tiger)

All six updates include the following:

Fixed: Attempting to Drag and Drop Files Containing iXML metadata from the Workspace Browser Would Result in No Import, and Assertion Errors (Item #100723)
  • The assertion errors would occur when attempting to subsequently save the session
  • Previous workaround was to use File > Import > Audio instead of drag and drop from the Workspace

Fixed: Despite Changing the Fade Shapes in the Fade Dialog, Fade-ins and Fade-outs Always Conformed to the Last Created Fade In and Out (Item #100913)

Fixed: Volume Breakpoints at "- inf" Could Change to Full Volume When Manually Trimming Automation (Item #104551)
  • This could occur when trying to trim the breakpoints down a few dB.

Pro Tools HD 7.4cs7 for Mac and Windows also includes:

Fixed: "TchVal" Button in D-Control Operations Menu Stuck on "Yes" But Not Functional (Item #100802)
  • Although set to "yes" there was no value readout when touching faders.
  • Please Note: In order for this fix to take affect, the Pro Tools HD v7.4 Preferences file will need to be deleted before launching the updated Pro Tools HD 7.4cs7 application.

Pro Tools HD 7.4cs7 for Windows also includes:

Fixed: Low Memory Error (-9006) When Using DestructivePunch Mode (Item #101226)
  • Typically would occur after a few hours of DestructivePunch recording
