Default midnam out of order (filelink included)

I recently bought Pro Tools 10 and hooked it up to my Korg Kronos.
All is well until I try get the correct patch names.

Here is what I did:
-I created a Korg KRONOS.midnam file in the Kronos editor (by SoundQuest).
-Put the file in C.\Programs(x86)\Common files\Avid\ProTools\MIDI Patch Names\Digidesign\Korg
-Edited Digidesign Device List.middev (added) a copy of the lines for Korg KARMA but canging modelname to KRONOS.
-Set my Kronos up in MidiStudi (no problems so far).

I can record from and play on my Kronos but... when I try to change patch i get the message:
"An unknown error occurred while attempting to parse this instrument's patch name document."

Trying to change the file (bottom left button in patch name window) I get the same error message.

Any thoughts on where I went wrong?!? You would believe the guys at SoundQuest knows how to generate a decent file...

If anyone has the knowhow to examine the file for errors... you can download it here:

If someone could tell what's wrong with the file I'd really really really appreciate it...
Here is a link to the file: http://www.filefactory.com/file/4owd..._KRONOS.midnam

Desperatly hoping for help...

Downgraded to PT9 and found the problem is the same for that version

Hi!

How are you finding the integration of your Korg, with the Mbox Pro and Pro Tools 10. I have a very similar system to you which I am setting up.

With respect to the software issues you had, how is that working within Pro Tools 10? For example, I believe it will still not work as a plugin as its not supported (I.e. vst not supported). Have you got around this, used a wrapper or something else.

Would be keen to know how you are getting on, and how your software and hardware (including connections to and from Mbox etc ) are configured.

Cheers

Mark

Sorry for late answer...

Nah... I Think the idea of using the Kronos as a plugin is bad
(Think you can only use one sound simultaneously then)

What I do is to Control the Kronos with PT10 and sending the sounds to the Mbox to blend with the rest... Haven't really gotten down to bouncing yet but I may have to record each channel to hard drive Before bouncing (not shure)...
