Well, that's all pretty gloomy, Darryl!! I tend to think that if something actually did happen to Avid that, given Pro Tools HUGE market share in the audio niche, that that would be an attractive asset for some other company. Heck, it might be an attractive investment with a limited partnership structure with the right general partners. There's a lot of options as to what could happen in that eventuality. I'm not as pessimistic as you on that!

Yes Congrats and a BIG MIDDLE FINGER UP to the rest of us who got screwed during this fiasco .. Thanks Pace/iLok and whoever else came up with this extremely weird plan to chose a "few" who gets an apology and the rest of us just accept that .. I truly hope and pray ilok is a thing of the past very "soon"

But after trying the clariphonic plug last night I wish I would have gotten that instead of the free ilok (but the ilok is still cool)

The lens cleaner package they sent me says copy protection suck but license management rocks
