Strip Silence Bug in update
just noticed this with the latest update that strip silence parameters are acting funny. First session I was in i couldn't move the slider for start pad or end pad. Now in the next session I'm working on I can't move any of them other than to move them 100% to the right or left, no in between. Anyone else notice this?

Re: Strip Silence Bug in update
This is one I've noticed and reported as well. It's also affecting some sliding parameters in the Event Operations window. Hopefully the bug is fixed soon.

Re: Strip Silence Bug in update
workaround: If you hold the control key(win) you can move the sliders to values other than max and min. It's also the modifier for fine parameter control so sliders will move in smaller steps.
Hope this helps. It's not a fix but serviceable until avid addresses this

Re: Strip Silence Bug in update
Has anyone tried trashing prefs to see if this goes away?

Re: Strip Silence Bug in update
Here too. Requires exiting the session and reopening. Very frustrating when dealing with multiple ongoing projects (narration) that require this.
While we're at it... why can't we do direct text entry for the values? I know we can do the fine adjustments anyway, but I'd rather have the option for text entry. I have a set of numbers that generally works well given certain scenarios and I'd like to have that either as a preset or some way to enter the values as a starting point. |

Re: Strip Silence Bug in update
My start pad slider is locked at zero. 2020.12 ultimate. Other sliders increment in large chunks, like a grid.
