In the meantime, there is a workaround. On the home page of the S6 press the 'gear' for the pages settings. De-select the option to have the meter scroller linked to track selection. That will keep it in place. I put my record stems or main busses at the beginning of the PT session so they show up on the meter scroller first. This method keeps them in view most of the time.

Only a small wish...

A fast way to Cut Monitor Paths. eg. Maybe by pressing Shift+MonB.
There are severall "Cut" Posssibilities for the Controll Room but none for Mon A oder B for what i know...

Best and Thanks

Default S6 v.2.3 feature wishlist

Agreed. Monitor cuts are not currently implemented for DAD however they do work via the MTM monitoring page for XMON but not for Surface soft keys. We are working on increasing the functionality and appsets for monitoring on S6 and for third party interfaces like the DAD and improving parity.

You guys should reach out to QSC as well. Their Q-Sys devices are becoming popular for b-chain monitor controlling. BSS as well.

BSS integration has been requested before. They would need to implement EUCON on their end for this to be possible.

Hey Eddie,

I would LOVE to be able to control midi CC via faders. Any chance this could be implemented in the very near future ?

I hear you, we have a few other major features we need to get done first but this is on the list.

I think my two biggest whishes are:

1: Being able to control my listen mic, connected to my xmon, from the surface...

2: Enable plugins that are disabled (not bypassed).

Some things I'd like:

1. Enable us to Show and Make Active, or Hide and Make Inactive tracks from the surface, currently these don't seem to be available in Eucon. I have a composing template with layouts on the S6 where I can see my hidden and inactive tracks in layout view on the surface, but no current way to show and make active from the surface.

2. easier way to assign LARC style fader assignments in layouts for plugin parameters. Currently I can sort of do this in layout view by assigning multiple copies of a track to faders, then switching the parameters I need to the pan knobs and flipping the surface once. But I still have to manually flip the whole surface each time after entering layout. It would be great to have a quicker more elegant way to put a parameter on to a fader and have it instantly recall with the layout. Midi CC's would be very handy too.

3. Quick simple way to tap to assign any plugin parameter to any knob on the MAM. Working in blocks of 4 is a pain in the bum, and the layout of parameters in many plugins is so poorly laid out and confusing that I end up barely ever using the knobs on the MAM at all, because it's just not as fast as using the mouse. However if I could use a modifier to click on the plugin parameter, and then tap to instantly assign to any MAM knob then it would be brilliant. If it was that quick and easy I would use it all the time.

4. A way to assign the MAM or another part of the surface to a clip based workflow, including clip fx and clip gain.
