MMC

If I use MMC can I link 2 programs like PTLE and Sonar on the same computer? Basically I want to sequence MIDI with Sonar and use PTLE for audio.
Or does there have to be a physical MIDI connection?

Hi,

Rewire is really the only happy way to get another application to work in residence with PTLE. Pro Tools likes using up all the resources and of course the sound device (002,Mbox etc.)

I don't think Sonar can run in a rewire config. Before my Protools days I used to use PARIS and LOGIC together but they never really locked in SYNC very well.
