Default Q6600

Can I run an old version of PT, 6.7 or 7.0 on the Intel Core 2 Duo Conroe E6600 or the Q6600?

Thanks

Version 7 will work but anything older would require you to go into the BIOS and disable one processor as far as I know.

The Question here People! IS

1.- Why you upgrade your computer without considering upgrading your Pro Tools!

2.- Why you Don't Try all New of Pro Tools features.

3.- Why you don't want to stay Updated!

Beleave me! Since PT 6.7 or 7.0 at to day! With 7.3.1cs4 is Awesome! on new functions, features, etc.

Ridiculous is the amount to pay for the upgrade!

When you work with this Version, you'll see all the difference!

7.0 is definitely the first PTLE version that supports dual core/processors.
Whether your particular system is compatible depends on your system specifics.
