Default midi keyboard question

I have a realy old Korg SG digital piano, I have always used it with MIDI cable into a synth module. Will I be able to use this as MIDI controller in PT (002r 7.1)? I'm reading about need to install driver for the keyboard- I didn't know what a computer was when I got this keyboard, much less have a driver for it.
Thanks
JIm

I guess my question is do I need to install some driver for it (I went to Korg website and didn't see anything that indicated there was any kind of updated driver for thios dinosaur); or of I don't need anyting, how do I set this up? I tried hooking it up the other day to use with Reason. I ran MIDI cable into MIDI input on 002r, also ran midi out of output 1 into my synth mpdule. Was never able to see/hear anything happening trying to play a sound in Reason. The green midi in light on front of 002r was blinking-
I'd appreciate any directions on what I do to set this up
Thanks

You will not need any special drivers. Just plug a standard MIDI cable from the Korg into the 002. You are getting the MIDI activity light, so you are already fine. You simply need to adjust the routings. In PT, go to the MIDI setups page and set it to see the 002 input/output ports. In your PT session, assign the MIDI track (or Instrument track) input to see the Korg's incoming MIDI, and assign the track's output to the desired sound module or virtual instrument. Refer to the PT Reference Manual for a concise description of how to do this.
