iTunes+Core Audio on Intel Macs
M'k, love this new dual 2.0 Intel MacBook, everything for the past couple of months since I bought it runs smooth and fast, no problems whatsoever thus far. EXCEPT! When I play music in iTunes through the Digi002R, I get annoying clicks and pops, usually on bass frequencies (kick drums mostly), am I the only one encountering this glitch? I quickly dismissed the possibility of it being a bad FW cable as this only happens in iTunes (perhaps that IS the problem, dunno? I don't have an extra cable but will certainly go get one if that is the case).
No other applications gives me the same problem (PT, Reason, Live, etc.), not even playing back an AIFF mix using Quicktime, only happens in iTunes. I downloaded the latest version yesterday (7.0.1) hoping that would help but no. As far as I can tell, I have the latest version of PT and Core Audio. Any advice is welcome!
