Heres how to fix your 002r.won't start/turning off

Hi Guys,

I couldn't stand it any longer so I bit the bullet and opened up my unit to fix it myself.

Indeed it does seem to be what they call the power harness.
I been up all night - it is now 7.35 am here in Ireland - where I am from - and at last it all seems to be going Ok.

The good news for everyone else is that I have taken photos of the inside of the 002r and I have done up explanatory notes of what I did. I have edited the photos and marked out the appropriate parts so as anyone else with this problem can do a fix themselves. I have done it out in Microsoft Publisher so if anyone wants a copy just mail me at [email protected].

If you just want the photos - well I can do that too. I now wish I had done this weeks ago when it started because it doesn't go away it only gets worse and worse.

Anyone attempting this do be careful tho and follow the common sense rules regarding mains electricity and appropriate and safe disconnection before attempting any fixes.

.....just one more thing - I don't have a website of my own. If anyone wants me to e-mail them the guideline with the photos to put up on their own site - feel free to do so - it might be a lot more helpful for the community if someone could do that and then they'll have an immediate idea what to do WHEN this problem occurs as it inevitably will for some.
