D-command and UAD 2
Hi there,
Just wondering is anybody using a D-Command and UAD 2 card together? If so, is it possible to map the UAD plugins to the EQ/Dynamic section of the D-Command? Thank you, Retroboy

Re: D-command and UAD 2
I just installed a UAD2 into my setup with a Dcommand. So far I have not been able to see anyway to get the UAD plugins to map at all to the dedicated EQ and dynamics section. On the other hand it has no problem mapping to the encoders in the CF plugin Mode. Also, on a good note... I was surprised to find how easily the UAD2 and plugins installed and just worked without any complications or fuss. They sounds really great too ! Be careful with how easy it goes into demo mode, you may end up wanting to keep more of the plugins than you may think ;-)

Re: D-command and UAD 2
I'm also running a UAD-2 with PTHD and D-command.
My experience is just like the last poster. No stability issues and the more basic plugins map fine to the main rotary encoders. On a side note, the new UAD software cuts latency in HALF to mirror the PT buffer settings. At 64 samples, you can actually track through these in some cases! Happy camper here... -Z- |
