Digital split

Hi!

Is there some easy way to do digital split when foh is using Profile system and monitor world use Mix Rack system?

Your Profile surface at FOH is a Mix Rack of FOH/Stage rack system ??

In this case foh console is Profile system (stage rack, digi snake and foh rack) and monitor mixer is Profile with Mix Rack System. Problem with MADI is that it is in FOH rack, not in Stage Rack. Any ideas?

Using a MADI option is d simplest way to lay an optical cable from Mixrack to FOH I think...

And U Can

Use some Digital Output cards(DSO) @ stage rack + some Digital Input cards(DSI) @ Mixrack.(Basically, wether its helpful or not, mixrack has 10 line inputs)
DSO sends signal through AES/EBU and optical simultaneously.

or DSI(stage rack) + RME ADI648 + MADI option, u can use 48ch other mixrack input + 16 MADI input

I've used the MADI digital split a good amount. It is very reliable and works flawlessly. My only "not favorite" thing about it is the slave console does not automatically gain comp when a change is made on the primary console. It is what it is...I just have to relay to my monitor engineer when I am making a gain adjustment so he can prevent surprises. I would not doubt it will be too long before AVID releases a gain comp feature. Afterall...they did the programming of the GAIN transfer feature for virtual soundcheck...it couldn't be much harder than that
