Guitar/bass synthesizer Plugin ?

Do you want to mangle an existing sound so it sounds like a Piano or Strings or do you want to use these things to control a VI?

Several plugs achieve what you're looking for.
Some better than others.
Waves GTR has a bunch of filter effects in their arsenal, and that abyssmal new Line 6 McPod Farm plug has some synth effects.
SoundToys Filter Freak does some nice stuff too.

thanks I will check them out.

and now is there anyway to use my guitar audio to midi so I use xpand2 and things.
step input takes to long and I cant play keys.

You need to have a special pickup installed on your guitar which will have it's own output that runs to a breakout box which converts the signal to standard MIDI.

Roland and Axon both make systems to do this. If you go to sweetwater.com and do a search for "synth guitars" you'll get all the information you need, or check out roland and axon's web site.
