Ok, whats the deal with that? I'm running PT5 on a Mac G4 quicksilver dual 1ghz processor. I've never seen this. What's the deal? And how can I fix it? Holy crap! I've got a session tomorrow! HELP!! [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img]

Could it be that you have the digi D-fi, Sci-fi and so on plugins installed, and they’re demos?

Hello,

If you own D-Fi you may need to reauthorize the plug-in with the authorization floppy disk. If you do not own D-Fi you will want to remove the D-Fi plug-ins from your plug-ins folder. D-Fi includes Lo-Fi, Sci-Fi, Recti-Fi and Vari-Fi.

How to remove demo plug-ins:
-Make a list of the plug-ins which post the warnings when Pro Tools launches.
-Quit Pro Tools and remove (i.e. trash) all the plug-ins files in the list from the System Folder>DAE Folder>Plug-Ins folder.
-Trash the DAE prefs (the entire folder) from the System Folder>Preferences and empty the Trash before relaunching Pro Tools.

Well I do own them. AT least I thought I did. I bought the Digi 001 'studio package', which was a bundled collection of plugins and software instruments like Dynamo. I've never seen these problems, and I thought that I paid the extra $400 for those plugins! (However I've never even seen Vari-Fi no that I think about it!)

What's the deal Digi?

D-Fx is not part of the 001 Factory bundle.


The 001 Factory Bundle is pre-authorized for:
1176, LA-2A, moogerfooger Lowpass (Bomb Factory), SuperTap, MetaFlanger, Q10 EQ (Waves), D-Fi, D-Verb, Maxim

I would suggest removing the demos unless you purchased D-Fx seperately.

Nope. I've had these running for almost 11 months now, and I've never gotten this before! It's a bummer because I use these all the time. Anyone know what's going on?
