PT LE for 001 Serial Numbers
Hi,
I'm about to move a 001 system from 1 computer to another, but there's a catch. We have TWO 001 systems lying around, one which is attached and is being used, while another has been decommissioned and is about to be put back in use. I can find one manual with the serial number in it, and before I tear the place apart looking for the other manual (which may or may not be around), is there any way to display the installer serial number used on the working system to see if there is a conflict. Hope this makes sense. Cheers, Devin |

Re: PT LE for 001 Serial Numbers
Don't worry about it, It'll work fine with the serial number you do have. PTLE doesn't check over networks for identical authorizations (ala MS Office) or anything like that, so you can authorize your 2nd system with an identical serial # without any problems. I'm sure Digi wouldn't be totally hyped about it, but since you did actually buy both systems I don't think they'd hassle you about it.... however, you could also call them and get your other serial number from customer service pretty quickly (assuming you registered the systems when you first bought them).
