Default PT11.3.1 Not Playing ProRes LT

Has anyone experienced this.

Import a 29DF ProRes LT file onto the timeline. Not trying to play it out a video card, just want to view it on the screen. Hit play on the transport and the video doesn't play. The session does, but not the video. I have the most current ProRes Codecs on the system.

Mac OS 10.9.5
PT OS 11.3.1

HD Native PCIe card installed in a 2.26GHZ 8-Core 32G RAM
UAD Quad Card
Black Magic SDI Card (but not trying to play out of this)

Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks ........

Question Re: PT11.3.1 Not Playing ProRes LT

Does the video play in QuickTime player?

Yes it does. Works fine in QT player on the same Mac and others.

Do you see thumbnails in the video track? Also try the 10 bit full quality setting on the video track. I seem to get better performance then the full quality setting.

Default

We found a weird bug where if the filename for the ProRes file didn't have an extension, say .mov, it wouldn't play. But in our case, I don't think it would even import, so probably not the same problem, but worth a look.

I find sometimes when my files don't play, a full restart fixes it as well.
