Updgrading from Power PC to G3 / G4
Hello everyone.
I am running a Mix 24+ with PT 5.1.3 on a PowerPC 9600/300 with OS 9.1. Everything is working fine but with bigger sessions i am getting some problems from time to time which are going on my nerves so i am thinking about putting the PT into a new Mac. What i would like to know now is what Mac can i buy without having too much compatibility-problems since i read from other people that they had problems with several G3s/G4s with PT that did not occur when they used another version of the G4. maybe check out the sonnet upgrades first.
