Default Buffer Issues and other stuff

My reason file will not play along with the protools file. I can hear my instruments when I play the keyboard (when the song is not playing) and I can hear the reason file when I hit record/play (It records fine). The track is armed and the levels are bouncing when I just hit play. I dont hear sound though. It also keeps stopping with buffer errors and I have the playback engine set to 1024 samples and 80% processor and the defult level 4 Buffer. I thought upgrading to ProTools 7.0 from 6.9.2 would help but it did not.
