OT: New Janes Addiction record...

Hey, i dont have this yet (is it out?) but i have heard a few songs on the radio and it seriously kick ass. There have not been many origonal sounding rock records in recent years and this sounds great! [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

It is out, and it is the original crew minus the bassist. New bassist is Chris Chaney. It is a great album and has the raw energy that the old Janes has always had. I am a huge fan of theirs since the beginning and listened to them back in the day. Saw them at the first Lalapalooza (lotsofpoorlosers as we called it) and they were great. Got to catch them on there last show before they ended at the RUBBER BOWL in Ohio. AMAZING! They are playing DC this Friday, but I will be out of town! SUX..... It is a great CD though!

Highly recommended if you are an old fan.

Heard the single yesterday.
I'm REALLY glad it's actually pretty good.
I saw them for the first time live last year but that was a real dissapointment
Perry still got it though & he's really nice.
Jane's addiction is still & always wil be 1 of my all time favourite bands.
I didn't like the Kettle whistle "album" though a few years ago with Flea on the 2 new tracks.
Who's playing bass now ? Is that the porno for pyros dude (dutch guy Martin something...) ??
What do you think of the whole album ?
Is it already released ??
