Status update on missing features?

Just wanted to check if there’re any chance to get a status update on some dearly missing features?

• Customized plugin parameters for knobs...
This has been requested from many users from day one.
The S6 has been out now for, what is it maybe 6 years or so.
Hints have been seen that it might come, but waiting year after year without it showing up.
Are we ever gonna see that feature that we sorely miss from the Icon days??

• The dead knob on the featured strip??
The knob above the featured fader is still not in use after all these years.
Dead center in the sweet spot of the console and it has never been implemented for the use of Pro tools.
Very strange to me. Would make more sense to me if they would have delayed the initial release of the S6 a couple of weeks and put that knob to use.

I really hope Avid would listen to their users and prioritize these missing features.

I can say that we are currently working on Custom knobs, I have already seen some of the Display work on the S6 and Control App for this. We are planning for an early Q2 release for it. We are looking at whether we can add the assignable knob functionality to PT (Like Nuendo and Logic have) this will then enable the single knob on S6 for PT for later this year.

For me it's more about eq cycling being possible in attention expand zone.
And sorry for being blunt Jeff, but I'd actually like to see more resources spent on a small amount of very essential features and bring them to market than ever more features being loaded onto the Jira backlog of the obviously not-too-well-resourced S6 dev team, so I'll stick to the must-haves for this thread. Working in a big company myself I know of course that there is not much you or Eddie can do about that. That decision is made on different paycheck grades.

Another 'must have' one to add would be an option to assign any channel strip as always being locked to the currently selected/attentioned track in PT.

There are workarounds for this, but a dedicated setting would be nice. Not having all dedicated knobs and buttons on the focus channel is - let's put it diplomatically - not one of the greatest design choices ever. Having the knobs on the master module is not a good alternative.
