Default Workspace: How do I attach info to my Audio?

I just attended a Digi seminar last night and they went through the Workspace window which I never use. I like the ability to use it to browse audio in my system. I really like the ability to see what tempo the audio is and other notes about the audio (like what key it is in if I can put in that comment myself).

How do you attach this tempo / comment information to your audio so you can search by it in the Workspace?

I figured I would take a look at the workspace search to see what you were talking about and I'm kinda disappointed by what I found..

You can edit some of the different columns in the right hand pane, as well as the name in the left pane. Right click on any column header to pull up the list of all the columns that are available. There seem to be 6 or 7 that you can edit, like file comments, user bits.. and a couple others.

But the bummer is that there seems to be some option called DigiBase Pro (maybe HD only??) that you need to be able to search all the different columns.. Without it, it seems you can only search on name, date modified, and kind. Of those, name is the only one you can edit.. So you could add those items you want to search on into the name, but that isn't ideal..

Seems like a stupid thing to cripple, but that's what LE is all about I guess

Ummm... I don't mean to be discourteous, but seriously, you'll need to read the whole DigiBase/DigiBase Pro Chapter in the Pro Tools Reference Guide.

That well, falls, along way down.
