ProTools compatable with Motu hardware/PCI card?
A friend of mine asked me today if Protools software could be run with his MOTU PCI card/hardware. I didn't know!!! I know the hardware (ie Motu 828/896 etc) isn't the issue being that is just an interface, but what about the MOTU PCI card? It wouldn't surprise me if digi keeps their stuff proprietory which eventually will shoot themselves in the foot in my opinion (if that is the case)..Can anyone offer any expertise on this? Thank you--

Re: ProTools compatable with Motu hardware/PCI card?
Not compatible with the PCI card. Is should be compatible with the ADAT interface. Use PTLE and the 001 card, but hook the 828/896 up on the ADAT interface.
