I haven't updated yet, still on Mojave, but Bounce to QuickTime on Catalina is still beta and is limited in functionality. Most importantly, the Same as Source option has not been reincorporated yet. The option is still visible (they say it's acknowledgement that they plan to bring it back), but greyed out on the new, combined Bounce Mix... window in PT2020.11. PT's "Bounce to QuickTime using quicktime conversion" has always been very very very slow, making it basically useless for me. I think you're still better off using Shutter Encoder or FF.Works, etc. to replace audio than bouncing to QT with conversion in PT until they bring back the same As Source option.

Working well here. With the right settings its just as quick as before as far as I can tell. Definitely no slower than before.

No problems, but not really in a grind mode right now. Did not have any issues with the previous version either on a hard month of post and scoring. Running still OSX Mojave 10.14.6 until I get a new Mac in the spring. On a Mac Pro trash can with 64GB of ram. G

I am no expert - but perhaps somehow your OS is not optimal for the version of PT?

or perhaps re-installing PT would fix?

there must be a solution.

It's an issue Avid never resolved.

I'm on 2020.11 on Windows 10 and am experiencing a huge amount of interface lag when editing to video. It's especially bad with 59.94 high bitrate prores proxy files. Not as bad with 29.97 prores proxy at a lower bitrate, but still difficult to work with. Anyone else experiencing a similar issue? I have 2020.9 on a Mac Pro with Mojave HDX rig and it's a bit laggy too, not as bad as my PC but noticeable. A couple quick specs on my PC worth noting are as follows:

CPU Intel Core i9 9900K
MoBo Gigabyte Designaire Z390 Rev 1.0
64 GB Ram
PCIE Storage 1TB HP EX950 SSD
EVGA nVidia GeForce GTX 1660 Black Edition Studio Driver v27.21.14.5730
Video is being output vid HDMI from a BlackMagic Intensity card
Audio goes out a UA Arrow Thunderbolt interface
