Default help with axiom 49 in transfuser

hey guys. i am trying to set different midi channels for a couple of the tracks in transfuser, but no matter what I do on the axiom, i only transmits to the tracks that are set to channel 1. for example, my drum track, and a couple synth tracks are set to midi chan 1 so that when my axiom outputs on chan 1 it plays all those instruments. the bass track i'm using i set to midi channel 2 so i could "perform" whats being played a little bit more while all the midi channel 1 tracks are already playing, but no matter what I do, even set the axiom to output on chan 2, it still only plays the tracks set to chan 1. helpl? please?
