Default I need some help asap

Can anyone on here help me with my problem?? When I send midi notes from my fantom or my rack into protools, the notes are off sync. The tempo is in protools the same way it is in my fantom's sequencer. What could be the reason that my notes are being sent into protools off sync?? The seem to come in too early. Do I have to change anything in the grid? I'm clueless to what to do. Someone please help asap

Unless the notes are being quantized as they are recorded, it is recording what you are playing.
That is, if I'm understanding your question.

You're notes are being recorded before you even touch them? That's peculiar . Just kidding. Have you tried lowering the buffer? Latency, a lot of times, kills the timing.

Are you recording the sequences initially on the fantom?
Do you have the fantom and Pro Tools sync'ed together using MTC?

Im recording the notes straight from the fantom's sequencer. Thats why I'm confused on why the notes are coming in out of sync. The notes come into protools early for some reason. I turned on the mtc on the fantom and the same thing happened. Do I have to change Protools to mtc in the transport window?

Maybe adjust the global MIDI offset? Record the tracks and nudge them into time?

Do I adjust the midi offset first and then send the midi into protools?
