Default Panther session too cpu hungry for tiger

Hi,

I am revisiting a project that ran fine in panther! but in tiger the sessions are maxing out the CPU and i am having to remove!! rtas/htdm stuff for the sessions to be able to run.

Digi/anyone? can you confirm that tiger is not as efficient for CPU usage??

Chris

Default Re: Panther session too cpu hungry for tiger

are you using WAVES plugs? their tiger versions are buggy in that sense that the plugs load generic PPC code instead of the altivec optimised code. this info is on their web site, too.
