Ok so have done all the optimizations. At best i wont know untill ive been working again with it to see if the save crashes are subdued. But still, i take it ive lost the session it wont o pen anywayas that file is now currupt and many hours of work including by others history. I spose i could do a system restore to before it happened. But then would have to redo all optimizastions again i guess. Sorry about this writing am on a smart phone that ant so smart.

Try creating a new session and importing all of the session data from the old one. Do this a few tracks at a time to narrow down the culprit.

As soon as projects get past a certain volume/size it initiates the crash feature in the Native version. Its f*^&^king built into it I tell you! Avid are wankers.

Is this issue alive and well in ProTools 11?
