Well, I'm not being silly or stating anything here other than the question;

Isn't 2006 kind of old for a computer that's used for this purpose of professionalism? Couldn't any $400.00 PC today out perform those machines? Just asking. Then you all could be out of this mess?

There are many reasons some of us stay with PPC. These issues have been discussed to death.

And the answer to your question is: no, it's not that simple, else we would all have done that years ago.
