HD Driver 12.x compatible with PT HD 11?

I have PT HD Native 11.3.2 running on Mac OS X 10.10.5 (Yosemite). I'm using a HD Omni interface. I haven't upgraded my OS because it would require updating Pro Tools, and I'd rather not change to a subscription-based plan if I don't need to. The only functionality I've been missing is Core Audio support, which is inconvenient, but I've lived with it so far.

I just saw this article: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/f...e-Audio-on-Mac. It says the latest HD drivers (12.6.1 or higher) are backwards compatible with "previous releases" of Pro Tools HD. Unfortunately I can't access a download page for the latest driver because (naturally) I don't have a license for PT 12.

My question is twofold:
1) Are the latest 12.x HD drivers in fact compatible with HD 11?
2) Is there a legitimate way for HD 11 licensees to download and install those drivers?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I have not been able to run any version prior to 12.6.1 using the new HD driver for 12.7. I need to reinstall the old driver to made it work.
