Advice on external hard drives for compatibilty ?
I'm using Digi001 for p4 on PC with a single 40Gb H/D I'd like to use an external hard drive with the PC to take advantage of the compatibility between Digi001 on PC and Mac. I've done PC/MAC and MAC/PC transfers with CDRs but want to use a portable hard drive. I'm sure I saw something about it here a few months back but can't find it.
Is there a big difference in speeds between internal and external/ scsi and ide? hoping somebody out there who is doing this succesfully can advise. Thanks.

Hi Fusty. Welcome to the DUC.
I don't know the answer to your question, but therre is a "Compatability" section on this website that should answer it in no time. Just click on the above tool-bar. Good luck. |
