Ashley Simpson.....SNL lip sinc disaster

Not that I`m a fan of hers....but did anyone see the train wreck at the begining of her second (and potentially last) "live performance" on SNL........

...pretty embarassing, and it`s career over before it started...I predict!

The techies started the pre recorded vocal before the band started. The big problem is that it was the voc from the previous song she had performed about 20 mins earlier. The band hastily tried to pull it together, jumping into the tune, following the vocal,..........again, the song she had just performed. Ashley could do nothing but cover her face, and walk of stage while the band played and the show went to commercial.

man oh man!! god bless tivo!! i just spent the past 20 minutes watching it again, and again, and again. hopefully this might end her career like milli vanilli. people like her should never be out there pretending to be musicians. because of her some talented musician didn't get a deal. that just pisses me off. god bless the techie who did played the wrong tape at the wrong point!!

Why do you think that would occur? Sure it happened to Milli Vanilli, but that was several years ago, and the big stink was they weren't the actual singers. Nowadays it is common practice to play along with tracks. And to Autotune the crap out of less than mediocre singers.
What? You thought Madonna, Brittany and all the others actually SING while jumping around on stage?

She's not pretending to be a musician, she's pretending to a pop star. BIG difference. And even if she had not been signed to a deal, that doesn't mean a talented musician would have gotten her record deal. She fit, or was easily adapted to the cookiecutter mold that spits these little girls out on a monthly basis. No biggie.
My guess is this will be forgotten in a matter of days. As soon as it makes the rounds and everyone is tired of seeing all these links posted on the internut.
