IDE Drives delay when recording
I have a problem:
I am trying to configure Protools to record to internal IDE drives. This is my configuration: Quicksilver 867Mhz PT TDM 5.1 Internal IDE drives Now the problem is: there is a +/- 4sec waiting time between the moment I press Record and the time PT actually starts recording!!! I already found a little solution, altough not practical; In quickpunch mode I press play then very quickly after I press Record and this works. Changing the preferences regarding disk allocation time does NOT make a big difference. Thanx for helping |
