Question Applying Colors to a Selected Region of Track

Can't seem to do this? I want to color code the A and B sections as a visual que for the changes. Can someone tell me how??

I am assuming ur meaning the Marker colors.. go into the preferences, display tab, to the right you'll see color coding, just check it...& from that point just add ur markers (locations) & there u have it...

No go. I see the area you pointed out and I try every option available but I still can not select a portion of the waveform in Edit mode and set a color.
This is sooooo typical, sometimes the simplest thing proves to be soooo difficult.
I actually hate to ask again, but what am I missing here??

Yes, you can.

See pages 146 to 148 in the 7.3 Reference Guide. For 7.4, search the Reference Guide for "Color Coding for Tracks, Regions, Markers and Groups."

How do you mean waveform? A region is a waveform and you can color regions, ergo you can color waveforms.
