Exclamation Play Button

Hello, a friend and I recently got into pro tools. So far so good? I have a problem here and, well there it is: Anytime I hit play, it just wont and after a second or 2, the stop button will flash once.

If someone could help me into getting that fix, that would be great!

Regards,

Charles.

I had the issue happen on a couple of different systems

It currently - at this point doesn't really happen on my current set up thank God

Never really figured out how to get it fixed it would come and go like a ghost

Think I went through all the set ups and optimizations again and change some settings in the preferences and it went away

Think I'm currently on my third computer since that's was happening and I haven't really seen the issue here on 9

Thanks for your reply.

I still can't get the play button to work. After I hit it, the stop button will blink once and that's it. So I cannot record or play any wav sound I have..

Please Help

Thanks in advanced.

Maybe you accidentally engaged "Wait for Midi Note"? Its shown by the "clock face" to the left of the stop button.

I think I did, but just to make sure because I am not familiar with PT10, could you tell me the location?

And yes I do have a second H/D.
