You have to be a digital subscriber to the magazine to read it online. I just emailed you a pdf copy of the magazine and hope it works for you. Let me know one way or the other.

Those temps must be in Celsius. We hit 70F here in Trenton today and that sun feels good. Went out and did some shopping for art supplies for wife and I. Back before I got injured I used to snow ski - that's how I met my wife. And come springtime it would get warm enough I could ski in a t-shirt (and pants of course ) Some females would get even more adventurous and ski in bikini tops

I looked it up so you guys have an idea, my 6c are 42f, it's 57 now but this is Canada. I'm surprised how a tropical lizard like me have been able to adapt so well...

I think I'm going to pass on the Millenia compressor for now.

I like it. Lives on my vocal bus. It's not just the air-band thingy. Fixed frequencies but very useful ones, I like that kind of simplicity. Even better in tandem with eq2.

Thanks a lot!!! I have Volko Q3D which is a precursor of the EQ4 but never use it, I haven't compared the bands to see if they are the same but I remember the air band worked great on acoustic guitar ala Cat Stevens Wild World

Yeah, the Volko has the same frequency selection. I tried it but I think I remember it had some issues, clicks, pops, general clunkyness. Ditched it. When I was on Win I liked Luftikus, that one was/is pretty impressive. Free to boot. VST only though.

The one thing missing from the Mäag EQ4 is the 15kHz air band. And that's the one I generally seem to like best. It's available on the EQ2 though. Which also has an interesting selection of boost-only frequency points. I sometimes use these to boost just below or above a cut I made on the EQ4, kinda Pultec-push-pull style.

Got them both pretty cheap with that sale+voucher deal. Worth waiting for. Poker face on!

Thanks a lot Muddy-T, I ended up getting it! I too had trouble using the Volko eqs when they were in the same track with some Waves plugins so I got the Waves API and now this one to stay away from trouble in the future. Of course I only paid $4 with the voucher
