Default Sample rounding, ticks, etc

OK, sample rounding reeeaaaaaaaallllly sucks. I thought it might have been fixed in 6.9, but it seems to remain. If I record in ticks, will there be 'tick rounding', as well, or will this fix it? Also, are all plugins, etc compatible with tick based audio? Anything special one needs to consider when using ticks?

What do you mean by sample-rounding?

You don't really need consider anything in particular when you deal with tick-based audio, it's only to do with how audio regions and automation data move relative to the timeline when you change the tempo. Plug-ins and all other audio processing is completely unaffected.
