Default waveforms don't match audio

My waveforms odn't seem to match the audio i've recorded at all. I cannot identify obvious rhythmic or dynamic changes that i know are present in the signal. It's a little odd.

I can take a screen shot but is there anything you guys can think of that might point to this?

(i am on a fresh install of 7.4 after rollin gback from 8.0 because i have an AMD 3000+ XP cpu)

This is a 7.4 bug.
Go to the region list menu and choose to recalculate waveform overviews.

Search this forum for "redraw" for other threads on the issue.
