5.1 Master Fader
Hello,
I'm using Version 7.3.1 on a G5 and a D-control. I've noticed something strange when using a master fader to monitor my surround mixes. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem. If I go to the I/O and set the default surround setup to FILM, the D-control master meters will respond properly (i.e. L on 1, C on 2, R on 3, etc). But the master fader in ProTools will respond as if I had my I/O set to SMPTE (L on 1, R on 2, C on 3). If I go back to the I/O and redo my setup, this time with the default to SMPTE, the master fader in ProTools will meter as if I had set my I/O to Film, but again, the D-Control meters respond as they should. Any thoughts? |
