Advice on modifying 888/24 interface
The only point that irritates me about the 888/24 I/F is the fact that you have to remove the top in order to change the analogue impedance setting internally. Is it possible to have the 888/24 I/F modified to provide DIP switches (or equivelant) on the rear pannel so that I don't have to remove the I/F from the rack everytime my recording setup changes. If it's possible is Digidesign or anyone else providing this service ?
I don't wan't to use a 1622 interface because I wan't to stay @ 24 bit all the way through. Could the 888/24 interface me modified to have software configurable impedance ? Thanks. [This message has been edited by Ian Greaves (edited January 23, 2000).] |

Re: Advice on modifying 888/24 interface
Sorry, Digidesin is currently not providing this service. I am not aware of anyone else doing this. Maybe some other users might have some info for you.
