Default I need help badly

I Just Started On ProTools LE 8 On Windows 7 And Im Trying To Set Up My CAD GXL2200 Microphone Everything Is Hooked Up Correctly And Phantom Power Is On But For Some Reason When I Set My Inputs Yo the Mic A Strange Yellow Signal Comes Up On My Mixer...I Can Still Hear Myself Through The Headphone But I Cannot Record Anything

Please Help

First, Pro Tools 8. is not qualified for W7. You need 8.0.3 with beta drivers or 8.0.4.

That being said, we know nothing of your system. Tell us about your interface and post a Sandra report (as asked above) on your computer.

I'll resist being an English teacher and just remind you that you should be recording to an AUDIO track and not an Instrument track(common newbie goof).
