Latency issues! pls help!
hi dudes,
i guess this is a latency issue... but everytime i wan2 recrd in a previously mixed project (with a fair amount of active plugins in use on each track) i have 2 switch the playback engines h/w buffer size to a low 128 or 256 samples instead of its maximum buffer size because max buffer tends to crash the prog. then i tediously right-click each of the plugins & "deactivate" them before recording with a low h/w buffer sample rate. my question is is there a quicker way like "deactivate all plugins", rather then deactivating every plugin b4 i playback hardware buffer sample rates & then record? pls, iv been struggling on this for a while.. Re: Latency issues! pls help!
What interface?
If its a firewire interface i would recommend using low latency monitoring instead of low buffers, it's much more stable.
