Default Satellite Connection message over and over

Every time I launch PT8.

"Could not create network sockets for Satellite connections. The TCP/UDP communication port may possibly be in use. Would you like to try again?"

Same warning happens when I choose Peripherals. Have had some crashes when going into Peripherals. This just started happening after I installed cs2. Went back to cs1 but still happening. Not a tragedy but annoying. Not sure what I've done differently to suddenly start this.

if you look at the last page in perences. The syncronization page. There ia groupo of Satalite choices checked off when PT 8.0 is installed. I turned these off and that message went away. Not sure if that definitely did it but it worked for the moment

Thanks, I already did that though. I click no and it doesn't come up again until I either go to Peripherals or quit PT and launch again. It's just annoying.

Mee too!!! But is a PT problem or a bad integration with MAC Firewall?
I did both, joji hints and telling firewall to make enable connection as default.
Nothing make the annoying message stop.

pleeeeeaaaase give us a soloution or a workaround.

All the best

Did you check the settings for Satellite? Go to PERIPHERALS and click on the SATELLITES tab on the far right. Make sure ALL of the Sytems listed show NONE in the pull down menus.
